Built Around Real Workplace Contexts

The Standards for RTOs require training and assessment to reflect genuine workplace conditions, current industry expectations and the way work is performed in practice. For CHCPRT033 Provide support to children and youth in outofhome care, this means giving learners opportunities to apply authentic workplace practice when supporting children and young people in out-of-home care.

Our CHCPRT033 training materials help trainers connect learning with activities such as building respectful relationships, communicating with children and young people, following care plans, recognising support needs, maintaining professional boundaries, recording observations and completing workplace reports. Learning can be contextualised around the policies, procedures and safeguarding responsibilities that guide day-to-day care.

Foster and Kinship Care

In foster and kinship care settings, support is provided within a family environment while maintaining the child or young person’s safety, wellbeing, identity and connection to important relationships.

Trainers can use the CHCPRT033 RTO training materials to develop scenarios around household routines, communication with carers and case workers, responding to changing needs, documenting significant information and supporting participation in decisions about care.

Residential Care Services

Residential care workers support children and young people through structured routines, shared living arrangements, behaviour support strategies and coordinated responses to wellbeing or safety concerns.

The resources help trainers contextualise activities for shift handovers, care team communication, incident reporting, professional boundaries and consistent implementation of individual plans. Learners can practise responding appropriately while maintaining dignity, cultural respect and a child-centred approach.

Child and Family Community Services

Community services may support children and young people in out-of-home care through case management, supervised contact, education and health coordination, transition planning and links with families and other services.

Using the CHCPRT033 training resources, trainers can frame learning around multidisciplinary communication, information sharing, referral pathways, recordkeeping and reviewing support in response to the child or young person’s goals and circumstances.

Any Delivery Mode

The editable RTO resources support classroom delivery, workplace delivery, blended learning and online delivery. Trainers can contextualise learning activities, examples and assessments for their learner cohort, workplace setting and the policies used by the organisation providing care.

Hear What RTOs Say About Our Awesome RTO Training Materials

Just sharing my experience with these resources. The resources that we have purchased from RTO Learning Materials were expectional during audit and mainly when these were implemented with trainers and students. At start it was a bit hard for our trainer's to fully absorb these resources as they are very detailed as compared to the old ones that we have been using but once trainers were able to complete their learning it was a piece of cake to collect and collate evidence from students. Furthermore, during our pre-validation meetings we have also observed that the learning component is very well covered thereby providing enough information for our trainers to keep students engaged at all times. I would also like to highlight a staff member from sales team 'Mr. Amar Shah' who has been exceptional in his service and goes beyond his call of duty. Thank you Amar and RTO Learning Materials for all your support. Regards, Amit Thakur
