Built Around Real Community Work

The Standards for RTOs require training and assessment to reflect genuine workplace conditions, current industry expectations and the way work is actually performed. For community services learners, this means providing opportunities to practise authentic workplace activities such as engaging community members, responding to identified needs and contributing to practical community action.

Our CHCCDE024 Support community action training materials help trainers connect learning with activities including community consultation, stakeholder communication, action planning, meeting participation, referral pathways, recordkeeping and reporting. The learning can be contextualised around realistic community issues so learners develop the confidence to support action respectfully, collaboratively and within organisational requirements.

Community Centres and Neighbourhood Houses

In community centres and neighbourhood houses, workers support local initiatives by listening to community concerns, encouraging participation and helping coordinate activities or responses. The CHCCDE024 training resources help trainers use familiar examples such as community meetings, local events, volunteer coordination and small action projects to contextualise learning and assessment.

Local Councils and Community Development Teams

Local government teams often support community action through consultation, partnership development, information sharing and coordination with services and resident groups. The CHCCDE024 RTO training materials allow trainers to frame activities around community profiles, consultation processes, stakeholder roles, action plans and reporting requirements relevant to council and community development environments.

Not-for-Profit and Advocacy Organisations

Not-for-profit and advocacy organisations assist communities to identify priorities, build participation and progress responses to social or local issues. The CHCCDE024 learning materials support contextualised activities involving advocacy planning, inclusive communication, referral and support networks, documenting outcomes and reviewing the effectiveness of community action.

Any Delivery Mode

The editable RTO resources support classroom delivery, workplace delivery, blended learning and online delivery. Trainers can contextualise learning activities, examples and assessments for their learner cohort, workplace setting and the communities they support.

Just sharing my experience with these resources. The resources that we have purchased from RTO Learning Materials were expectional during audit and mainly when these were implemented with trainers and students. At start it was a bit hard for our trainer's to fully absorb these resources as they are very detailed as compared to the old ones that we have been using but once trainers were able to complete their learning it was a piece of cake to collect and collate evidence from students. Furthermore, during our pre-validation meetings we have also observed that the learning component is very well covered thereby providing enough information for our trainers to keep students engaged at all times. I would also like to highlight a staff member from sales team 'Mr. Amar Shah' who has been exceptional in his service and goes beyond his call of duty. Thank you Amar and RTO Learning Materials for all your support. Regards, Amit Thakur
