Built Around Real Workplace Contexts

The Standards for RTOs require training and assessment to reflect genuine workplace conditions, current industry expectations and the realities of practice. For this unit, that means giving learners opportunities to apply child-centred, trauma-informed approaches when responding to children affected by domestic and family violence.

The CHCDFV002 Provide support to children affected by domestic and family violence training materials help trainers connect learning with genuine workplace activities, including communicating safely with children, recognising indicators of family violence, contributing to safety planning, documenting disclosures, making referrals and working with families and other services.

Family and Domestic Violence Services

Workers in specialist family and domestic violence services support children through sensitive conversations, safety responses, referrals and coordinated casework. The resources help trainers contextualise learning and assessment around child-safe communication, risk considerations, documentation and professional collaboration within these services.

Child and Family Community Services

Community service workers may identify the effects of domestic and family violence while providing family support, outreach or case management. The CHCDFV002 RTO training materials allow trainers to use realistic scenarios involving observation, information sharing, support planning and referral pathways relevant to local community services.

Schools and Outside School Hours Care

Education and care settings may be places where changes in a child’s behaviour, wellbeing or attendance become visible. Trainers can adapt the learning activities and assessment tasks to explore responding to concerns, maintaining confidentiality, recording information and following organisational child protection and reporting procedures.

Any Delivery Mode

The editable CHCDFV002 training resources support classroom delivery, workplace delivery, blended learning and online delivery. Trainers can contextualise learning activities, examples and assessments for their learner cohort, workplace setting and local service requirements.

Hear What RTOs Say About Our Awesome RTO Training Materials

Just sharing my experience with these resources. The resources that we have purchased from RTO Learning Materials were expectional during audit and mainly when these were implemented with trainers and students. At start it was a bit hard for our trainer's to fully absorb these resources as they are very detailed as compared to the old ones that we have been using but once trainers were able to complete their learning it was a piece of cake to collect and collate evidence from students. Furthermore, during our pre-validation meetings we have also observed that the learning component is very well covered thereby providing enough information for our trainers to keep students engaged at all times. I would also like to highlight a staff member from sales team 'Mr. Amar Shah' who has been exceptional in his service and goes beyond his call of duty. Thank you Amar and RTO Learning Materials for all your support. Regards, Amit Thakur
