Built for the Environments Where This Training Happens

Under the Standards for RTOs, training and assessment must reflect real industry and workplace conditions. ASQA will look at whether your CHCAOD001 materials support practical delivery, clear evidence, and workplace-relevant assessment for learners working in an alcohol and other drugs context.

Our CHCAOD001 training resources help trainers connect AOD context work to harm minimisation, client-centred support, stigma awareness, referral pathways, safety, and role boundaries.

Community Services and Client Support

Community services workers may encounter clients affected by alcohol or other drug use across many service contexts. These resources help trainers connect AOD awareness to respectful support and referral decisions.

Mental Health and Youth Support Settings

AOD issues may intersect with mental health, family, housing, or youth support needs. The content gives trainers practical ways to frame AOD work as part of broader client support.

Specialist AOD Service Environments

Specialist services require workers to understand harm minimisation, boundaries, safety, and service pathways. These resources help trainers show how context knowledge supports informed practice.

Any Delivery Mode

Your RTO can deliver these editable CHCAOD001 training materials through community services workshops, blended delivery, or online learning. Trainers can adapt AOD scenarios, referral activities, and communication tasks to suit learner roles.

Just sharing my experience with these resources. The resources that we have purchased from RTO Learning Materials were expectional during audit and mainly when these were implemented with trainers and students. At start it was a bit hard for our trainer's to fully absorb these resources as they are very detailed as compared to the old ones that we have been using but once trainers were able to complete their learning it was a piece of cake to collect and collate evidence from students. Furthermore, during our pre-validation meetings we have also observed that the learning component is very well covered thereby providing enough information for our trainers to keep students engaged at all times. I would also like to highlight a staff member from sales team 'Mr. Amar Shah' who has been exceptional in his service and goes beyond his call of duty. Thank you Amar and RTO Learning Materials for all your support. Regards, Amit Thakur
