CAQA Resources Terms of Sale

  • Materials supplied are on a “one-off” upfront payment model. Once you purchase the training resources, you won’t have to pay other ongoing fees.
  • The licence agreement is unrestricted. Once purchased, you’re allowed to continually reproduce, edit, and use the material on an ongoing basis.
  • Training and assessment materials are editable so your RTO can modify, amend, and adapt these resources as you see fit.
  • You may upload your training and assessment materials on your own Learning Management System (LMS) or send them out to students in any secure method.
  • You’re free to print your training materials for distribution to your students.
  • CAQA Resources retains all intellectual property and related materials that are developed or produced. The title, copyright, intellectual property rights, and distribution rights of the CAQA Resources training and assessment materials will remain with the resource developer.
  • These training and assessment resources were created for the use of education and /or training provider/personal.
  • CAQA Resources does not provide the right to resell or use these resources for other organisations or personnel.
  • RTOs are expected to customise the documents and adapt the materials to suit business requirements and assessment models.
  • The RTO is responsible for ensuring that the training materials are contextualised and align with their Training and Assessment Strategy and other compliance documents.
  • The RTO is responsible for making sure their unit selection meets qualification or skillset packaging rules.

CAQA Resources Rectification Assistance

  • The price of these training materials includes a rectification assistance guarantee that applies only if training and assessment materials supplied in the form provided by CAQA Resources fail to comply with any regulatory requirements, you may reach out for rectification assistance for no charge.
  • This rectification assistance only applies to audits conducted by an official registered body such as ASQA.
  • Additional rectification assistance fees apply to training and assessment resources which have been found non-compliant after the original form has been modified.
  • You must submit the audit report to [brand] as proof that the resources were found non-compliant. We will not be able to assist you without the official audit report. Submit the required documents as soon as possible to give us sufficient time to complete the rectifications.
  • A minimum of 15 business days’ notice is required to resource and complete updates to assessment tools.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Once the order is confirmed, we will generate an invoice for the training resources requested.
  • After payment is made, it may take up to 1-2 business days for funds to clear to our account and finance to verify receipt of payment.
  • When payment is confirmed, we will confirm any remaining details required before delivery.
  • We will send you a copy of the license agreement to sign within 1-2 business days.
  • Once all required information and the signed license agreement has been received, we’ll process the order and typically deliver materials within 1-3 business days.
  • Your materials will be delivered in digital format via a secure document delivery service (Dropbox, Sharepoint or similar application)
  • We work on a “first-come, first-served” basis to be fair to all our clients. Orders go into the delivery queue once payment and licensing have been finalised, and all required information received.
  • Any delays to these steps by the client may result in longer delivery timeframes.

Assessment Resources Terms of Sale

  • Updates to resources available for a separate fee. 
  • Resources are delivered in digital format via a secure download link for easy use and distribution. Please allow 2 to 5 business days for delivery. 
  • The RTO is responsible for ensuring that the training materials are contextualised and align with their Training and Assessment Strategy and other compliance documents. 
  • The RTO is responsible for making sure their unit selection meets qualification or skillset packaging rules. 
  • Assessment Resources strongly recommends validating and contextualising any training resources purchased from any training resource provider before audit. 
  • Assessment Resources does not guarantee that the materials will satisfy any audits, audit report findings, or compliance investigations as they are. We cannot refund or exchange materials because of change of mind once they have been delivered. 

 

Delivery Time Frames 

  • After the order confirmation, we will generate an invoice for the training resources requested. 
  • Once payment is made, it may take up to 1 to 2 business days for the payment to clear and our finance team to verify the receipt of payment. 
  • When payment is confirmed, we will verify any remaining details required to complete your license agreement. We will send you a copy of the license agreement to sign within 1 to 2 business days. 
  • Once we receive the required information and the signed licence agreement, we will process the order. Delivery of the materials typically takes 1 to business days. 
  • Your materials will be delivered in digital format via a secure delivery service (e.g. Dropbox, SharePoint, or other similar applications). 

We work on a “first-come, first-served” basis to be fair to all our clients. Orders go into the delivery queue once payment and licensing have been finalised, and all required information received.

Careers Australia – Terms of Sale

We are working with an RTO that acquired most of the Careers Australia library of training resources and is now making them available to Australian training organisations. This catalogue includes one of the largest ranges of training resources in Australia, which have not been available to the general public before.

A license agreement acknowledging acceptance of these terms and conditions must be signed and returned before any training resources can be released to you. Please take the time to read the terms of sale below. You can read the full license agreement terms and conditions here

Some training resources in the Careers Australia catalogue are now published and distributed by RTO Learning Materials and TotalVET Training Resources (including SIT, SIR, TLI, CPC, MEM and parts of the RII and BSB catalogues).

If you are not sure which publishers’ terms apply to your training resources order, please let us know and we’ll be happy to clarify for you.

Important information about the Careers Australia catalogue of materials:

  • Materials have been designed for blended learning (including classroom instruction & self-paced study outside the classroom), and generally, contain a lot of images & practical assessment tasks to provide a great training experience to your students.
  • Some units were not complete at the time the RTO’s content was acquired by the owner (eg observation forms, learner guides, benchmarks or other tools may not be available for a unit), either because the materials weren’t required or because Careers Australia had not completed them prior to the new acquisition.
  • Qualification packages are already substantially discounted to reflect that some work may be required to create documents to complete the training and assessment resources.
  • Your RTO is required to contextualise your training resources for compliance with the Standards for RTOs, and it is strongly recommended you validate and rectify any tool you purchase from any supplier – this way you save money upfront on the materials and you will naturally develop that evidence portfolio as you shape the tools to suit your RTO’s needs.
  • Individual units can be selected from the packages if you only want complete units, but a higher per unit rate will apply.
  • The unit matrix provided indicates which tools and materials will be provided with each unit of competency in the package.
  • Using these resources as a base, you’ll be able to get qualifications on scope and courses to market months earlier, which means you will start generating revenue sooner.
  • The catalogue owner is not intending to update or maintain these training resources. You will be able to update and maintain your own materials.
  • Most materials are in editable Word format so your RTO will be able to make any further modifications and updates you want to maintain and improve the tools yourself.
  • You are free to and it is assumed you will brand the materials with your own organisation’s branding, and transfer the content to your own templates. Materials will be supplied with Careers Australia branding on most documents.
  • Lots of unique and unusual resources that were developed for specific state, federal and industry funding contracts, so you’ll find units and qualifications that it would not be economically viable for most commercial development companies to write.
  • These materials were developed and extensively “road tested” at audit and in training by a reputable training organisation with 2,000+ students!

Terms and Conditions of Sale

  • Materials are supplied on a “One-Off” Upfront Payment model.
  • You are free to train Unlimited Students within your own RTO with No Ongoing Fees.
  • License period lasts for the lifetime of the unit/qualification release.
  • Most materials are delivered in editable Word format for easy modification and distribution to your students. Materials may include a mix of file formats including PDF.
  • No resale or distribution of the materials to other organisations (except official regulatory bodies).
  • Materials may be re-branded, and otherwise modified and contextualise for compliance and to suit your RTO’s needs.
  • Training materials may be printed, uploaded to your own LMS or distributed to students in digital format using secure methods.
  • Resources are delivered in digital format via a secure download link for easy use and distribution. Please allow 3-7 business days for delivery.
  • It is the responsibility of the RTO to ensure the training materials are contextualised, and align with their Training and Assessment Strategy and all other compliance documents.

  • Compliant Learning Resources cannot refund or exchange materials for a change of mind once they have been delivered.

Note: As of 1st July 2018, in certain kinds of audits ASQA no longer offers an opportunity for rectification if non-compliances are identified at audit. This affects initial RTO registration audits. It is critical you allow yourself enough time to fill any gaps, fully contextualise, and understand your training materials before taking them to audit.

Ultimately it is the responsibility of the RTO to ensure all compliance requirements are met at audit. No training resource provider can guarantee full compliance at audit.

RTO Learning Materials assists with the marketing of a range of different publishers – each offers their own guarantees, warranties and terms of sale.

Please note, most publishers do require a license agreement acknowledging the terms and conditions of sale to be signed and returned before they will release training and assessment resources. You can find copies of the license agreements for each publisher using the links below.

Payment Plan Terms and Conditions

RTO Learning Materials offers payment plans for training resources via our partner finance provider, Moula Pay.

Moula Pay is a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) provider like Afterpay or Zip Pay, designed to meet the needs of businesses wanting to purchase goods and services while better managing cash flow.

Moula offers a credit limit of up to $250,000 for eligible businesses. The first 3 months are interest and repayment free, with up to 12 months to repay. You can repay early at any time – with no penalties – to save on interest.

To be eligible to use Moula Pay, you will need to have:

  • An ABN or ACN.
  • Been in business for at least 6 months.
  • $2,500+ in monthly sales.

Please let us know you’d like a payment plan when you place your order for training resources and we’ll be happy to assist!

If you don’t have a Moula Pay account, the basic steps involved are:

  • Request a payment plan for your training resources from our team.
  • We will send you an invitation to apply for credit with Moula Pay.
  • You will complete your application for credit and send to Moula Pay (takes about 10 minutes only).
  • Moula will review your application, and if successful, you will get approval within 1 business day (typically applications will be processed within just 4 work hours!).
  • Once your credit is approved, we’ll request payment for the invoice via the Moula platform.
  • You approve the request for payment via the Moula platform.
  • We receive notification of payment from Moula and can then continue to process your order & deliver within our standard timeframes!
  • You make repayments direct to Moula Pay (first 3 months interest and repayment free, repay at any time, with up to 12 months to repay).

If you already have a Moula Pay account set up and pre-approval for credit, we can generate an invoice with a link to pay directly via Moula Pay! Simply let our sales team know when you place your order and we’ll be happy to generate an invoice with this link.

The transaction will be processed via the Moula Pay account for RTO Learning Materials’ parent entity, Precision Group (ABN 48 127 926 726). Request for payment via the Moula platform will come from Precision Group.

SRFH Resources Terms of Sale

  • SRFH Resources provides a “one-off” licence model. You don’t have to pay ongoing fees to use and distribute your training materials.
  • Only one licence will be granted to an RTO or to an organisation that’s applied to become an RTO.
  • Your learning materials will be delivered in a digital formal.
  • Your RTO can create and distribute unlimited copies of the training resources to your students.
  • SRFH Resources will assist in the rectifying any deficiencies found during State or National VET Regulators audit within 21 business days of being provided with a copy of the official VET Regulator audit report.
  • Resources are delivered in digital format via a secure download link for easy use and distribution.Please allow2to5business days for delivery.

  • If any of the resources supplied in its original form fail to comply with any regulatory requirements, VET Resources will rectify the non-compliance at no additional cost.

        Question: Are your training resources validated?

        Answer: Yes. Our team validates the training materials during development. They include detailed mapping for each task in the Assessor Guide and a master matrix to make compliance easier.

         

        Questions: Do your products guarantee compliance?

        Answer: We always do our best to apply client and audit feedback when writing our training resources to improve their quality.

        However, compliance is subjective to every RTO and depends on the context of training and assessment. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that each training material in our catalogue is compliant with every auditors’ interpretation and expectations.

        Moreover, RTO Learning Materials has acquired the license to distribute part of Careers Australia‘s library of training resources and is making them available to Australian training organisations. This catalogue includes one of the largest ranges of training resources in Australia, which have not been available to the general public before.

        These resources are offered on an “as-is, where-is” basis. Therefore, there may be gaps in the assessment tools that need to be rectified, or the resources might have missing files. This is because the materials were not required or because Careers Australia had not completed them before the new acquisition.

         

        Question: Do you offer a rectification assistance guarantee?

        Answer: The publishers of our training resources (Precision Group (Australia), Compliant Learning Resources, TotalVET Training Resources, and RTO Learning Materials) offer their own rectification assistance guarantee.

        It applies to purchases of a single unit and a complete training package. Unfortunately, the rectification assistance guarantee does not apply to those who purchase only a part of a unit (such as the Assessment Tool or the Learner Guide package).

        Also, our partner publishers offer their own rectification assistance guarantee. Kindly refer to our Terms of Sale to learn about how to claim their rectification assistance guarantee.

         

        Question: Will the assessment pass audit?

        Answer: We develop our products following high standards. We also apply feedback from clients and audits and lessons learned throughout the years of writing training resources. Therefore, we are confident that they will meet the audit requirements.

        However, every auditor has their own interpretation of the RTO Standards and guidelines. To help meet your unique standards, we offer an audit rectification assistance guarantee.

         

        Question: How can we take advantage of audit rectification assistance?

        Answer: Kindly notify us in writing. Provide a copy of your official audit report at least 20 business days before your audit and it to support@rtolearningmaterials.com.au.

        This will give us enough time to validate and supply the rectified materials.

         

        Question: Can you customise the training materials for us?

        Answer: No, but we can refer you to an independent organisation that can provide you with customisation services should you require any assistance.

         

        Question: The link to my resources expired. How do I reaccess them?

        Answer: The link we provide is valid for 7 days only. If you couldn’t download them within that timeframe, request a new link from support@rtolearningmaterials.com.au or call 1300 80 84 80.

         

        Ordering and Payment

        Question: How do I order?

        Question: How do I pay for my order?

        Answer: You can use credit cards, Paypal and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) when you order through our online shop.

        Otherwise, we’ll generate and send you an invoice which you can pay through bank transfer or credit card.

         

        Question: Can I pay over the phone?

        Answer: No. We don’t accept payments over the phone for security purposes.

         

        Question: Do I have to pay upfront for my order?

        Answer: Yes, you need to pay all orders in full before we can deliver them to you.

         

        Delivery

        Question: How will I receive the training resources I ordered?

        Answer: We deliver all our training materials in digital format through a secure document delivery service (usually SharePoint, Dropbox or any similar applications).

         

        Question: When will I receive my order?

        Answer: Our standard delivery timeframe is 2-5 business days, depending on the volume of orders we’ve received.

        Answer: Our team is working diligently to expedite the development and delivery of all remaining units and resources. We also prioritise the development of the most popular units to cater to the needs of most RTOs.

        We understand compliance is paramount in the modern VET industry. Therefore, we are not willing to take shortcuts to ensure the quality of our resources.

         

        Development Process

        Question: How long does it take to complete new resources?

        Answer: Our standard development cycle is 6-8 weeks per unit to ensure you get high-quality training resources and maintain compliance as a training organisation.

         

        Resource updates to new qualification/ unit releases

        Question: Do you provide free updates to new qualification/ unit releases?

        Answer: We provide free updates and enhancements only for qualification/ unit releases with minor changes and if the qualification/ unit code hasn’t changed.

        For major releases with new qualification/ unit codes, we could offer our existing clients a discounted price for the updated resources.

         

        Question: Can I exchange my superseded training resources for new ones?

        Answer: If you bought your superseded resources from us, we could provide special upgrade offers to assist you with getting brand-new training resources.

        Question: How can I get a copy of my invoice?

        Question: I need to add/ update some details in my invoice. How can I do it?

        Copyright and Licensing

        Question: Can I remove copyright marks from the documents if I bought the digital editable format?

        Answer: RTO Learning Materials owns all Copyright on its products as detailed in the Copyright Act 1969.

        Our copyright acknowledgement should be kept inside the cover of each document, as well as the footer of each page.

         

        Question: Can I insert my own logo in the resources?

        Answer: You are free to rebrand the materials under your One-Off license. This includes adding your logo, as long as the copyright is acknowledged anywhere in the resources.

         

        Question: Can I make some terms in my license agreement (remove/ revise a clause, etc.)?

        Answer: Our license agreements contain our standard terms and conditions. If you want us to make the changes, please get in touch with support@rtolearningmaterials.com.au. Any requests for revisions are subject to management’s approval.

        The usual turnaround time reviewing such requests is around 4-7 business days, depending on the nature of the request.

         

        Question: I have other RTOs. Can I buy one copy of training resources and use it for my other RTOs?

        Answer: Our license agreement only allows one Registered Training Organisation (RTO) per resource.

        However, you may request to get discounts for subsequent licenses (full access to updates and enhancements, rectification assistance, and ongoing support) for your other RTOs.

         

        Question: Can I resell the training resources I bought from you?

        Answer: Our license agreement and fee do not cover reselling of our training resources.

        Precision Group (Australia) is a leading developer of RTO training materials for Australian training providers. Precision specialises in BSB training resources, covering more than 20 of the most popular qualifications and over 170 units of competency from the Business Services Training Package from Certificate I to Advanced Diploma level.

        RTO Learning Materials is an authorised reseller and distributor of Precision Group (Australia) training resources.

        • Precision Group guarantees to provide audit rectification assistance if you experience problems with your Precision assessment resources at audit.
        • Unlimited student access to the virtual workplace site “Bounce Fitness” is included with your materials (one login required per student, accounts are valid for 12 months after activation).
        • Precision Group will supply more access codes to create “Bounce Fitness” accounts on request within the license period.
        • Learner Guide & Trainer Manual files are supplied in unlocked PDF format. You may modify, brand and contextualise these resources.

        • It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the training materials are contextualised, and align with their Training and Assessment Strategy and all other compliance documents.
        • It is the responsibility of the client to ensure their unit selection meets qualification or skillset packaging rules.
        • Precision Group strongly recommends validating and contextualising any training resources purchased from any training resource provider prior to audit.
        • Precision Group cannot refund or exchange materials for change of mind once they have been delivered.

        Delivery Timeframes

        • Once order is confirmed, we will generate an invoice for the training resources requested.
        • Once payment is made, it may take up to 1-2 business day for funds to clear to our account and finance to verify receipt of payment.
        • When payment is confirmed we will confirm any remaining details required before delivery.
        • Within 1-2 business day, we’ll send you a copy of the license agreement to sign and return to us.
        • Once all required information and the signed license agreement has been received, we’ll process the order and typically deliver materials within 1-3 business days.
        • Your materials will be delivered in digital format via a secure document delivery service (Dropbox, Sharepoint or similar application)

        Important Information about Precision’s Rectification Assistance Guarantee:

        • If you would like to claim Precision Group’s rectification assistance guarantee on official regulatory audits, please notify Precision in writing at least 7 days before your audit at feedback@precisiongroup.com.au.
        • If you have difficulty with an audit, and this difficulty relates specifically to the assessment tool, call 1300 626 556 or email feedback@precisiongroup.com.au immediately. In many cases, Precision Group are able to explain how to apply the tool and demonstrate compliance at audit.
        • If your auditor still isn’t satisfied and reports a non-compliance on your audit report, provide Precision Group with a copy of your official audit report where it relates to our assessment tool. We will assist with rectifications to the assessment tool and provide a copy of the updated tool at no cost to you. Please note, we require a minimum of 20 business days notice in order to resource and complete updates to assessment tools.
        • If you need us to provide updated assessment tools in time to meet your rectification report submission deadline, please contact us immediately after receiving your audit report so we have adequate time to complete any changes required.

        Note: As of 1st July 2018, in certain kinds of audits ASQA no longer offers an opportunity for rectification if non-compliances are identified at audit. Where there is no rectification opportunity, Precision Group is not able to offer audit rectification assistance. This affects initial RTO registration audits.

        Ultimately it is the responsibility of the RTO to ensure all compliance requirements are met at audit. No training resource provider can guarantee full compliance at audit.

        Compliant Learning Resouces offers digital training resources on an unlimited student license model. A license agreement acknowledging acceptance of these terms and conditions must be signed and returned before any training resources can be released to you.
